Why The Mental Health Minute

“You are enough. So enough. It is unbelievable how enough you are.”

The Mental Health Minute was started with a hope to bring people of like minds and also mental shortcomings or illnesses (I don’t like to say problems). What I envisioned when this began were people sharing their stories, starting discussions, and posting professional articles and studies as a way for people to get advise and gain some insight into what they are going through, and the best way to fight.

When this idea came to mind, I was actually going through a very dark time in my life. And the scariest thing about it was that nothing was wrong. My next blog will go into my life and history with mental illness, but I just want you all to know that you’re not alone. As cliche as that sounds, and it even took me a while to grasp the concept of it, it’s true. You just have to realize it, and that’s where everything starts to turn around.

As this website takes shape, I hope to bring you the best and most insightful content that has to do with what you’re going through. Whether it’s depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, or any other of the various illnesses, I will be here to talk to you about it, to find out what I can about it, or to find someone who knows more about it so that you get the answers you need. The last thing that you need to remember, and what I started this writing on, is that you are enough. You are, and I will never let you forget that.
